How to Fix No Sound on Steam Games on Windows 10

•    Uninstall Sonic Studio III/Nahimic/ MSI Audio

1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together.

2.    Now, you will get the Run prompt box.

3.    Enter “appwiz.cpl” in the provided box.

4.    Click on the Enter option.

5.    It will launch the Programs and Features option.

6.    In the Programs and Features menu, find the menu list of all the available apps.

7.    Find the Asus Sonic Studio 3/ Nahimic option.

8.    Otherwise, click on any other sound manager which you are currently using.

9.    After getting it, right-click on the sound manager.

10.    Select the Uninstall option.

11.     Go through the instructions mentioned on the screen to finish the uninstallation procedure.

12.    After that, start the system again.

13.    After completing this procedure, open the game through STEAM from which you are not getting any sound.

•    Signing Out the Other Users

1.    After signing in as a one user, click on the Windows key to open the Start menu.

2.    After that, press on the User symbol.

•    Verify the File Cache Integrity of the Game

1.    Go to the Steam Client.

2.    Click on the Library option.

6.    Press on the Verify Integrity of Game Cache option.

•    Switch to the Generic Windows Audio Driver

1.    Click on the Windows and R keys together.

2.    You will get the Run prompt box.

3.    Enter “mmsys.cpl” in the text field.

4.    Click on the Enter option for opening the Sound menu.

5.    In the Sound menu.

6.    Click on the Playback option.

7.    Choose the active Playback device option.

8.    Press on the Properties option.

9.    In the Properties display of the playback device, click on the General option.

10.    Press on the Properties option linked with the Controller Information.

11.    In a new menu, click on the General option.

12.    Press on the Change Settings option.

13.    In the HD Audio Device properties menu, click on the Driver option.

14.    Click Update Driver.

15.    After going to the Update Drivers display, press on the Browse my computer for driver software option.

16.    Press on the Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer option.

17.    Ensure that the checkbox is linked with the Show compatible hardware.

18.    After that, choose the HD Audio Device option.

19.    Click on the Next option.

20.    Press on the Yes button.
